Geriatria

Geriatrics focuses on older people, and covers the area of internal medicine, orthopaedics, neurology and psychiatry. Also known as ‘geriatric medicine’, it has applications in relation to numerous diseases which go beyond the specialization of individual doctors. Examples of age-related conditions include myocardial infarctions, strokes, dementia, cancer and cataracts. The aim of geriatrics is to enable to the elderly to improve their lives via therapy. We offer the following tests in the field of geriatrics, for the detection of troponin I, CK_MB and myoglobin, as well as individual tests for troponin I, CK-MB, C-reactive proteins and D-Dimer, but also AFP antigens, Bence Jones proteins, bladder cancer antigens, haemoglobin, carcinoembryonic antigens (CEA), colon cancer, H. pylori antigens and prostate cancer.
