General Medicine

General medicine is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of mental, physical and chronic diseases. Prevention and rehabilitation also fall under this category. As a result, GPs are the first port of call for all medical conditions that will then be referred onto specialists. We offer the following rapid tests in the field of general medicine, which cover bacteriology, blood-group determination and the detection of Lyme disease, EHEC verotoxin 1&2, clostridium difficile toxins A&B, as well as glutamate dehydrogensase, clostridium perfringens, campylobacter, E. coli 0157, legionella pneumophila, listeria monocytogenes, salmonella ssp., salmonella typhi, shigella, shigella dysenteriae type 1, and streptococcus pneumonia antigens.
