Fertility

For many couples, having a baby is an important step in their lives. As the desire for a baby lags more and more behind other demands or life goals, it has become harder for woman to get pregnant in the remaining 20% of her most fertile period. It is therefore advisable to use ovulation to find out on which days a woman is most fertile, and consequently increase the likelihood of pregnancy. In such contexts, it is also worth checking whether pregnancy is not occurring due to the imminent onset of the menopause, which marks the end of monthly cycles and fertility. Typical symptoms include sleep problems, hot flushes, irregular menstrual cycles, hair loss and tiredness. For determining the onset of the menopause, we recommend our FSH tests. This is a hormone regulating the development of female eggs. During the menopause, more FHS hormones are produced in place of estrogen, making this a valuable indicator of the menopause.
