Immunstatus

Immune status is determined by the immune system of an organism and its capacity to defend itself against infections and pathogens. One of the most well-known immune diseases is tetanus, which attacks and damages the nervous system. Only when a high number of antibodies – such as tetanus antibodies – are found in the blood can we refer to immunization. Therefore, the likelihood of becoming infected with tetanus or other diseases is very low. A high risk of infection exists if a vaccine has not been carried out correctly, or if the number of antibodies decreases over some years.
